Tom lane was a club member that passed away and was a prolific builder of road trains and matched combos who’s attention to detail was second to nine and this perpetual shield and mini shield is awarded to club members who’s builds represent the spirit of Tom’s passion for the finer details and is Voted in by the club executive each year.
The club honours Tom’s. Memory each year by. Awarding the trophy /shield to a worthy winner!
This year was probably the hardest as there were many fine examples of great builds and many Worthy candidates. But there can only be 1 winner.
